About Andrew Regan

Dr Andrew Regan (born 14 December 1965, Manchester, England) is a British-born polar explorer and entrepreneur. He is the chief executive officer of Corvus Capital, an international investment Company.

Dr Regan is passionate about the conservation of the polar regions and has lead expeditions to both the North and South Poles, breaking two Guiness World Records in the process.

Andrew was made a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) on the 11th July 2011. He was awarded this great honour as a result of his relentless commitment to increasing the awareness to the ever growing environmental issues present within the polar regions.

In December 2014 Andrew was awarded a PhD for his extensive research into the development of bio-inspired algorithms and their uses within the financial markets. Dr Regan was invited to present the findings of his thesis, ‘A Novel GPU approach to forecasting the S&P 500’, at the ICFPF 2014 : XII International Conference on Financial Planning and Forecasting in Vancouver, Canada.
